The Pacific University women’s soccer team is playing to prove themselves this season. Ending the 2024 season in ninth place, the team is ready to come back stronger and more dynamic as a team.

Kellan McNamara is entering his second year as the head coach for the Boxer’s women’s soccer team. After a solid debut season, he’s focused on building a competitive, cohesive team while developing the players both on and off the field. With a year of experience under his belt, McNamara is looking to further elevate the program and help his athletes reach their full potential.

The Boxers lost three seniors last season but have gained 10 new faces for the field, eight being freshmen. Fans are excited to see the more competitive nature the team plans to bring this season as they head into the conference schedule.

Pacific men’s soccer is looking to build off of their solid season last year. They ended out the season with an overall record of 9-8-3 and conference season of 7-6-3. After losing some standout seniors from last season, Head Coach Brandon Porter has found a way to rebuild.

The Boxers had a rocky start to their off season this year. The first three non-conference games ended with not so favorable results. Playing Southern Oregon University for the first game of the season, the Boxers fell 0-2. Their second game was similar with a disappointing result against Warner Pacific Oregon of 2-4. The Boxers are ready to bounce back as returning players begin stepping into their leadership roles and new players eagerly wait to prove themselves.
