Boxers to celebrate senior class in final home match

The Pacific University men’s soccer team will close out its home schedule with senior night at Hanson Stadium, honoring a group of players who’ve shaped the heart and culture of the program over the past four years.

Before kickoff, the Boxers will recognize seniors Garrett Heuett, Camden Wyatt, Noah Gosch, Tyler Scott, Aidan Pierias, Mateo Pirz, Dado Cokic, and Keola Mataele, along with graduate forward Adam Landy, whose clutch performances have made him one of the team’s defining leaders this season.

Landy has delivered some of Pacific’s most memorable moments of 2025— including a last-minute game-winner against Lewis & Clark on September 28, when he scored with just 24 seconds left to lift the Boxers to a 2–1 victory. Earlier in the year, he notched the decisive goal in a 1–0 win at Linfield. His ability to stay calm under pressure has helped the team find confidence in close games.

Midfield seniors Noah Gosch and Tyler Scott have also been steady playmakers throughout the season. Gosch scored Pacific’s equalizer in a 1–1 draw at Linfield last week, assisted by Scott, and the two have been a creative connection in a team still searching for offensive breakthroughs.

On the defensive side, captains Garrett Heuett and Camden Wyatt have anchored the back line. Both former All-Northwest Conference selections, they’ve brought consistency, leadership, and composure to a defense that’s often been under heavy pressure. Heuett’s strength in the air and set-piece awareness, along with Wyatt’s reliable positioning, have made them key to keeping the Boxers competitive.

Senior goalkeeper Keola Mataele will also be recognized on Senior Night, despite being sidelined this season while recovering from ACL surgery. Mataele has remained an active presence on the sideline, supporting his teammates and maintaining his leadership role within the group. His resilience and positivity have been sources of inspiration for the team.

Seniors Aidan Pierias, Mateo Pirz, and Dado Cokic have also made meaningful contributions in their own ways. Pierias, a midfielder from Newport, Ore., has provided energy and control in the middle third. Pirz, a forward from Pacifica, Cali., is known for his speed and tenacity pressing defenders. Cokic, a forward from Burien, Wash., brings smart positioning and technical ability that have been valuable in conference play.

While the Boxers’ record doesn’t fully reflect their effort this season, their grit and chemistry have been constants. Head Coach Brandon Porter has credited the senior group for setting the tone in training and helping younger players adjust to the college game.
