Weekend  activities on Sept. 15 brought the city and campus to life with multiple events. More than 200 people registered for the 5K Run/Walk 4 Sight. The 48th annual Corn Roast fed hungry artists who had been working on their masterpieces at the 22nd annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local music, balloon art and puppetry entertained artists and onlookers. At the Corn Roast, several booths were set up such as the Circle K service club, Tualatin Healthcare, Pacific Eye Van, Pacific dental hygiene van, the Forest Grove News-Times and the Jazzercise Forest Grove Center. The Hawaii Club entertained the crowds at the Corn Roast by performing traditional dances.
