Boxer Baseball Says Goodbye to 11 Senior Players This Year

Four years go by faster than a ninth-inning fastball. For this year’s seniors, the final out doesn’t just end the game – but a chapter full of grit, growth, blood, sweat, and tears.

This senior class wasn’t defined by one moment; but many all together. From pitches to final outs, they helped shape the identity of this program. Though their time on the field is coming to an end, their impact, and leadership will be carried on by the next generation of Boxers.

Governor Aufranc- Pitcher

A rare two-way impact for the Boxers, bringing elite play to the mound and the plate. Maintaining a .971 fielding percentage while only allowing 10 homeruns, Aufranc did it all.

He set the tone for what it meant to contribute everywhere. “My favorite memory being on the baseball team is playing mafia on all of the long bus rides” Aufranc shares as he closes this chapter of his life.

Zander Ditona – Infield/Catcher

A steady presence behind the plate or wherever he was needed. His first career homerun was on March 29, 2026 a moment he won’t forget. “My favorite memory was our hot streak that put us in 1st place so we could host the tournament my junior year”, Ditona shares. As he graduates this spring, Zander leaves behind a legacy of consistency that anchors the lineup.

Miles Bergman – Outfield

Dependable in the outfield tracking down 106 putouts with confidence.  With a .376 on-base percentage, he got the job done offensively as well.

“Walking off Lewis & Clark to go to the tournament sophomore year was my favorite memory,” Bergman said. His consistency helped him become a quiet cornerstone of the defense.

Binyam Gebhardt – Shortstop/Pitcher

A competitor willing to take multiple roles on for the team. Whether one the infield or the mound, Gebhardt never shied away from opportunity and his commitment spoke loudly.

Jake Gallagher – Infield

A grinder on the infield, Jake Gallagher contributed in a big way in his career with 24 put outs and 44 assists. Never afraid of the routine play or the tough one. Gallagher brought reliability to every play when he was on the field.

Colby Podratz – Catcher

Elite efficiency at the plate with a .442 on-base percentage. Behind the plate, his .986 fielding percentage and 65 put outs highlighted the control of his game. Podratz leaves as one of the most dependable all-around athletes on the team.

Matt Palmateer – Pitcher

A presence on the mound who embraced every chance to compete. Game in and game out he brought focus and consistency to the mound.

Kenneth Kroese – Pitcher

Another arm that added depth and resilience to the pitching staff. Always ready when called upon, Kroese’s willingness to step up helped the Boxers in the long run.

Riz Collado – Outfield

A balanced contributor with a .324 OBP and a .339 slugging. In the field, his .960 field percentage shows he had a clutch tracking ability to help get the runner out. Collado’s steady presence held the outfield together.

Alex Laureano – Catcher

A workhouse behind the plate with 99 put outs. Handled the demands of the position with toughness and consistency. Laureano’s effort defined what it means from behind the dish.

Zachary Soran – Outfield

A presence in the outfield who embraced his role. Soran contributed to the team’s defensive strength and depth.
