Last year I went to Act V Theaters in Cornelius to watch a drive-in movie. I am not a fan of scary movies by any means, but since it was Halloween season I watched the newest Conjuring movie. Absolutely terrifying. And also one of my favorite fall activities.

Last October I went to The Melon shack in Corvallis. It is a small pumpkin patch and a maze that has a few food trucks and a small shack to buy different fall foods and treats. I didn’t do that maze in the day because my family wanted it to be a bit harder at night. During the night, the maze changes to a haunted maze, you walk through many different things and a lot of characters in there to scare you till you get all the way through. I like horror movies but this definitely was a small fright and really fun.

Not exactly a “fall activity” but last year my parents and brother came up for my dad’s birthday and we spent the day at Next Level Pinball Shop & Museum in Hillsboro. It’s a cool spot that has over 100 pinball and arcade games to play. They also got a lot of pop culture figures, posters, cards, etc. It was cool because it had a lot of games my parents played when they were younger and we all had a lot of fun. Definitely would recommend getting a bunch of friends together and making the trip over there.

Last fall I went on the Cascade Head hike, near Lincoln City out on the coast. The first part of the trail was through a beautiful forest and continued up to some hills and cliffs with an amazing view of the ocean. The views are definitely worth it, especially during fall!

I love taking walks and photos during fall. Seeing the leaves change to their vibrant colors is what makes fall so beautiful, especially in the Pacific Northwest. In terms of activities, I enjoy spending time with family and friends on Thanksgiving, eating good food, maybe watching the football game.

Once the temperature finally dips below 100 degrees, autumn in Arizona becomes a beautiful time of year. One of my all-time favorite activities remains going to the local pumpkin patch! In my hometown, our pumpkin patch has a corn maze, petting zoo, bounce house, obstacle course, food stands, and line dancing! It’s truly a staple of fall in my hometown and a great way to spend time with family and friends!
