President Lesley Hallick delivered the fall 2011 State of the University Address on Oct. 4 in Taylor Meade auditorium. She discussed the change from a 10-year to a seven-year accreditation system, which demanded a revision to Vision 2020 and suggested a revision of Pacific’s mission statement. Over the next year, action plans will be created and implemented in order to move Pacific forward. Hallick stressed that the university needs to recruit from a more diverse pool of students to maintain enrollment levels, which will keep university funds at levels necessary to offer scholarships and improve campuses.
