Many of the athletes at Pacific go through the struggles of recovery after enduring a variety of sports-related injuries, with some more severe than others. With these setbacks, athletes question their athletic capabilities and whether or not they can even return to their sports after rehab.
New Sports-Related Majors Offered to Students
Pacific University has officially added two new degree programs this last fall semester, Sports Communication and Sports Leadership and Management (SLAM). Courses for the two majors have already started to be offered and students are currently able to declare in either major or minor.

Intramural Sports Are Back
Students at Pacific University are taking advantage of intramural sports being offered once again since COVID-19. The program provides students with an opportunity to participate in a variety of sports competitively against each other. This semester there have been a total of 230 participants in the variety of intramural sports offered.

Pacific University Women’s Volleyball team has had their fair share of ups and downs this season; winning clutch games, but also coming up short in close competitions. A chance of redemption is possible for the team with the second round of conference play starting up. The Boxers plan to look past their bumpy start to the season and get back in the win column.
